It has to be one of the best restaurants we have been to on Tenerife, and although its in the north of the Island, you could plan a visit to  Lucas Restaurant when in Puerto de la Cruz, or on a round trip of the Island.

The owner is from Belgium,came to Tenerife as a child, and then went back to Belgium where he learnt his trade.

In 1998 he opened his first restaurant “El Faisán de Lucas" in La Matanza, before moving to their present site in La Orotava in 2003.

Lucas's partner Susana, also works in the restaurant.When we were there, we had the "desgustation" which was amazing.
