Today saw the finals day at the 2nd Palacio de Isora Tennis tournament, held just down the road in Alacala.

Before I go on to tell you all who is in the photos, a couple of points.

1 - To run a tennis tournament in a hotel complex is a nice idea, as long as guests do not have preference over players wo are in the middle of the game - as in  one match the two players were in the second set, and then asked to come off the court to allow 2 guests to play.

2- Why is it on Tenerife that tennis tournaments in general never have prizes?? This event gave the winners and runner's up trophies worth about 5€ each, but then came the raffle and the first prize was 3 days in the Hotel - why cannot the organisers get the Hotel to give better prizes?

So, thats the rant over - Oh, sorry one more - the fences at the back of each tennis court has a wire mesh, and its just wide enough for a tennis ball to go through....ermmmmmm!

So the photos from today...
