Los Gigantes is named after the series of giant cliffs that dominate the beautiful scenery surrounding the village. Originally a small fishing village, Los Gigantes is now a thriving tourist location with numerous bars and restaurants, a small beach and marina, apartments, hotels and plenty to see and do. The village of Los Gigantes is next to Puerto Santiago which joins Playa de la Arena with its famous black sand beach. Getting up into the mountains is easy from Los Gigantes. The tranquillity and breathtaking scenery are unmissible. Book a walk with us and see the landscape of a Tenerife long since vanished form the majority of the island. Although hiring a car is the best way to see the island a regular bus service carries people to and from the larger tourist resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos, a few kilometres to the south.
