This is entirely optional, but I must say that if you are up to it, you must try this walk in Masca, a wonderful hidden village to the north west of Los Gigantes.

Organised by our friendly local German guide Hans, you will meet at the Los Gigantes Tennis Centre, where you will then travel by car to the village of Masca.

From there you will walk down through the gorge to Masca beach, have a swim if you still have the energy, and then return by boat under the amazing cliffs of Los Gigantes, and back to the marina, which is a few minutes walk from the Tennis Centre and the apartment.

Boots can be hired from Hans, and the walk is classed as demanding. But, having said that, I have made it, so it cannot be that demanding.
