Another good video from Brent Abel, explaining how the grip, if used correctly in as much as NOT gripping tight, will give you alot more power on the forehand stroke. Also two other points Brent covers, where on the racket to hold it, and also to split the fingers on the racket...try these three things to give you a more powerful stroke, no matter whether you use a continental, eastern, semi or full western grip. 

I have been recently coaching a music teacher, and they can fully relate to the NOT gripping tight, in reference to playing a muscial instrument, that invloves using your fingers...piano, flute etc.....
