Tomorrow the Los Gigantes Over 35 team play CT Andrea in the final for promotion back to the elite Division 1 on Tenerife.

The problem is, is that half the team do not want to get promoted, as they feel the standard is too high in the 1st division.Apart from that one player does not want to play, because starting soon is Tenerife's big veterans competition, and they want to be fit for that.

My view - what is the point even having a team that really does not want to get promoted? Also I think players should put their club first before other competitions.

The problem here is that we do not really have a club, just a group of players who turn up every now and then and play for the team.

Solution - start to have team practices and make the players come to the Los Gigantes Tennis Centre, where we play our matches, instead of everyone playing in different tennis venues around the area.
