Yesterday saw the first match in the Tenerife Over 35 team competition.

We played our first match away to CT Miramar, from Los Realejos in the north of the Island.

Unfortunately we lost by the narrow margin of 4-3.

Jesus, myself and Cuki managed to win our singles (I was playing because we were short of two of the normal team!). Lynda lost her match 10-8 in the third set tie break, the same as Matteo - out here if the matches go to a third set, then a tie break to 9 is played, so both matches were lost by the minimum.

I then played in the decing doubles with Matteo, but we were well beaten by a very good hard hitting pair.
