The Easter Mens Doubles Event was a great way to spend Easter Sunday, and 12 guys battled it out, but only the cream got to the final,as shown above, with from left to right - Tim from Coventry, Les from Stoke, Roger from Blossomfield Tennis Club and our own John Beckley.

The winners were Tim and Les, but as the photo below shows, they could have been disqualified for drinking BEFORE the final -as my camera captured!

And if you look closely on the shirt of Tim, you will see something even worse - when zoomed in you can read the words---

HOLSTEN PILS!!!!!!

I hope that any young tennis players do not follow this type of behaviour!!!

And now you can see why Tim's tennis team back in Beechwood, Coventry have gone several years without being beaten - maybe a lesson for us all.
