From Brents great web site, here is an interesting idea on "how to handle the lobber".

Note how Brent advises that the better overhead player plays on the left side, so to cover the lob down the middle - the player on the right would have to use their backhand overhead, which of course is weaker.

And then in the diagram, you can see what he means if you hit the smash a) not only to the weaker player, but also b) hit to the right court players backhand, so then the return from them is easier to put away, based on the angle of their return.

Go out and try it.
