But basically a team from N.Ireland whitewashed a team of ex-pats plus one Norwegian(who I blame for the entire defeat) last Saturday at the Los Gigantes Tennis centre.

A match organised by our very own Trevor Leigh(one could also blame the captain for his team selection) put out a team to play a group of highly skilled Irish players.

Although it was a team match, the top two players were both from Belfast and on the ladies side the prize went to Lindsey Caithness, and on the mens side the winner was John Thornberry.

In the photo below Lindsey and John are the one's with the certificates.

I have heard rumours that there is going to be a return match, possibly in the New Year- stay tuned.
